Welcome address by the Consul General

Dear ladies and gentlemen, dear fellow citizens and everyone who is interested in Russia,

I am glad to welcome you on the official website of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Houston. Our consular district includes the following states: Iowa, Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, Kansas, Colorado, Louisiana, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, New Mexico, Oklahoma and Texas.

It is a high priority in our work is protecting the legitimate rights and interests of compatriots, building confidence and understanding between our countries, and promoting the development of Russian-American relations in various fields. We, for our part, will be ready to communicate with everyone who remains committed to direct, equal and constructive dialogue for the benefit of the peoples of Russia and the United States. I am confident that our countries have enormous potential for fruitful interaction in many areas.
